Cleavable peptide sequence from Human fibrinogen alpha chain

This is a linker consisting of a peptide sequence, which has been proven experimentally to be cleaved by the venom of Bitis gabonica. The specific peptide sequence of the linker is GGVRGPRV.

Results of experiments

This peptide is cleaved only by Bitis gabonica and can be used as a single positive response for that snake.

In the graf below you are able to see the cleavage by all three venoms.
